Thursday, October 27, 2016

Officials in Newark cut the ribbon on a new building downtown that features nearly 50 affordable housing units, they announced Monday. The property at 999 Broad St. is a five-story, mixed-use property that includes 6,500 square feet of retail space and 87 apartments, 47 of which are for low- to moderate-income households. The building at the corner of Broad and West Kinney streets, was formerly an abandoned Postal Service facility.
