Ultra-High Efficiency Senior Building

Transforming an underdeveloped downtown site in the City of Orange Township, Grand Central Senior serves as an anchor development along a busy commercial and residential corridor. The design goals for the project included achieving an extremely high level of energy efficiency including LEED platinum and Energy Star Climate Choice Certifications. This included the use of sustainable materials both inside and out and onsite generation of 50% of the buildings overall electric and hot water consumption. Inglese Architecture and Engineering provided all civil, architectural, structural, and MEP design services as well as construction administration services.
