Located in Aberdeen, NJ, Hudson Ridge Residences is comprised of two 4-story multi family residential buildings with a total of 145 dwelling units, as well as a 1-story community building. The project site, previously used as a metals factory, was redeveloped as part of a remediation and conservation effort to convert the site to residential use. The residential buildings, which are situated on either side of an internal road, are split between a family building of 70 dwelling units and ground floor amenity space and adjacent patio, and an age-restricted building of 75 dwelling units with ground floor amenity space and adjacent patio. Situated between both of these buildings is a community building, designed to be used for larger gatherings for the tenants. All buildings provide a consistent design language, including fiber cement lap and panel siding, mansard shingle roofs, and expressed gable roofs.
