Bachelor of Architecture | New Jersey Institute of Technology

Katherine graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2014. She has since worked as a designer within a broad range of disciplines, including architecture, landscape design, urban design, planning, and graphic design, with an interest in community engagement.

Prior to joining IAE, Katherine worked as an urban designer at an award-winning architecture, urban design, and planning firm in Brooklyn, NY. There, she worked on a variety of projects, including temporary placemaking installations, neighborhood framework plans, comprehensive city plans, regional resiliency plans, and a natural playscape. At the core of all these projects was a focus on community engagement, and Katherine helped to design and develop the tools used to involve stakeholders in the design process.

 

Katherine enjoys photography, boxing, hiking, drawing, and sewing and has been working on a series of small embroidered versions of iconic facades.
